Nice comments from 2011 participants:

"This was my first year riding though I had heard of the ride on occasion. I assumed it would be a small field. Wow! Was I wrong. It's a big ride. The venue and support are stellar. The volunteers are numerous and friendly. The entry fee is beyond reasonable. Lunch afterward was good. Door prizes! Schwag! Come on. This is a must do ride and is on my annual list henceforth. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and participated and to the locals who were very tolerant of a 2000 person field on their two lane blacktop!"                                                    'Rashford'
"This was my first ride as well and I had a blast! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The routes were scenic and beautiful while the cicadas (Some one told me what was making the sound) added a surreal quality. The door prizes and lunch were the icing on the cake!"                                                'MDBeane'
"This was my first on any ride. I had a great time. Hope the start many more rides. Be back next year."                                                    'guysummers'
"I recommend the Tour de Lions to anybody .... I really enjoyed the benefits of well-marked roads and great support while exploring unfamiliar terrain."           'L.O.', Bruceton Mills, WV
"My first year and it was fantastic! Very reasonable entry fee, GREAT Support, door prizes and lunch. It will be an annual event for me!"         'JVonGraves'
